Elections!!!

We are currently seeking nominations/ volunteers for all 4 officer positions.   If you are interested in helping the Parent’s Club for the 2014-2015 term, please email Liz Jeter at liz.jeter@yahoo.com or call 918-760-5775.  Details of position duties can be found in article 5 of our bylaws.  Deadline for nominations are 4-4-14 and if necessary, elections will be held via ballot 30 minutes before Mom’s Days activities at the AXO house! 

Mom’s Day Fundraiser

The Parent’s Club will be hosting the annual basket silent auction during Mom’s Day at the AXO house.  All donations are appreciated.  In the past years, we have had everything from food and spa baskets, to Lilly and Vera baskets, to great handbags and gift cards baskets.  This year, The AXO Parent’s Club will be donating a special basket.  Alpha Chi moms are some of the most creative moms and make the most fabulous baskets – so bring your checkbook!  

Have You Gotten Your Hotel Room for Mom's Weekend?

Today is the last day to get a room at our group rate at The Residence Inn for Mom's Weekend April 4th & 5th.  It is a 2 night minimum for $99 a night.  Details about what the Parent's Club has planned for this weekend are coming!

 Erin Carlile reached out to the board of the Parents Club to ask for our support for their philanthropy event.

They are having a philanthropy event and made shirts for one of our seniors, Elizabeth McMurray, that was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer in the fall. The proceeds of the philanthropy event and some of the proceeds of the shirt go straight to her family to help pay for hospital fees.
They are asking for our support by ordering a shirt to help our Lizzy!

Here is the link to the shirt. It is very simple to order, and the shirts will be delivered to Alpha Chi.
They can then mail them or deliver to your daughters.

Get Your Hotel for Mom's Weekend

Mom's Day is April 5th.  We have arranged a block of rooms for Alpha Chi Omega Parents at the Marriott Residence Inn for April 4th & 5th.  To get the group rate you need to call the Residence Inn at 405-707-0588.  Hotels in Stillwater fill up fast so I recommend you making your reservation now
